Doug, Katie, Gavin, and Jaeden McNett

We're so glad that you took the time to come see what has been happening in the lives of the McNett Family! Since Jaeden joined us in March it seems as though time has flown by! It's hard for me to accept that he is already 3 months old! It has been a lot of fun though! The weather in Germany in the Spring is great! The past week and a half it his been 70's and 80's with a beautiful bright blue sky. We have enjoyed going for walks through the fields and forests and spending some time with friends, and also on our own, at a nearby lake. Which Gavin totally loves! He is all boy and can never get enough of being outside! And he makes sure he gets to go play in the yard by running around the house saying, "outside, outside, outside, outside".

Doug has started youth ministry in Wiesbaden, which is about an hour North of where we live. What has been really awesome is that Nate Johnson (a missionary friend from Japan) is also involved in the ministry there! Unfortunately, because it's an hour away and Doug works on the ICU till 7p.m. he only gets to go every other week. But, regardless he is having a blast getting to hang out with teens and share the saving power of Jesus Christ with them. The youth group is called REFUGE, which is fitting since we desire it to be a safe place for teens to come and be themselves and come to know Jesus.

We have done little traveling since having the baby, but that is all about to change! This next week we're taking a trip down to our favorite spot in Germany called Edelweiss. It's on the border of Germany and Austria and is gorgeous! It's very relaxing and is a great chance for both of us to be reguvinated. After that, Doug will be heading to Scotland with Nate (and maybe another friend Doug) to take part in the Highland Games and also spend time in the Word and strengthening our relationship with Jesus.  We will be heading to London in August and Croatia in September.

So these are the adventures of the McNett Family. If you get time to go to our Prayer Center please do and see how you can be supporting us while serving another tour oversees. You can specifically be praying for our marriage that we are able to find good quality time alone (without the kids). Our solution to this right now is hiking and rock climbing, but, we desire the Lord to show us other opportunities to get time alone.
